Role
Liberum is hiring a Strategic AI Architect to advise government and enterprise clients on practical, scalable AI roadmaps and to deliver hands-on prototypes and implementations. The role combines technical design, rapid prototyping, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership to move organizations from uncertainty to sustained AI capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain practical AI roadmaps based on readiness, risk tolerance, and business value.
- Assess client AI capability and translate findings into phased, executable plans.
- Define governance structures, decision frameworks, and success metrics.
- Stay current on AI trends and advise on model selection and platform tradeoffs across the LLM/GenAI ecosystem.
- Rapidly prototype working solutions using AI-native workflows and agentic IDEs to demonstrate feasibility.
- Leverage prompt engineering and LLM-driven code generation to accelerate development.
- Evaluate and recommend agentic AI designs and multi-agent orchestration, and guide build vs. buy decisions.
- Design data architecture patterns, guardrails, access controls, and governance policies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.
- Engage and coach stakeholders at all levels, lead workshops and demos, and build client-side capability to reduce long-term dependency on external support.
Requirements
- 7+ years in technology architecture, solutions consulting, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years focused on AI/GenAI solution delivery.
- Hands-on proficiency with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering in production or near-production contexts.
- Working knowledge of agentic AI design patterns and multi-agent orchestration frameworks.
- Fluency with AI-native development workflows, including agentic IDEs and vibe coding approaches for rapid prototyping.
- Five years of business analysis experience.
- Strong command of AI data architecture and the ability to identify and mitigate privacy and security risks across AI pipelines.
- Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to navigate organizational complexity and lead change.
Desired Education and Experience
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
- Understanding of data privacy and governance standards such as FedRAMP or StateRAMP.
- Experience delivering AI consulting engagements across multiple clients or industries.
- Familiarity with responsible AI frameworks, AI ethics principles, and practical governance implementation.
- Experience with public sector or other highly regulated environments and exposure to AI lifecycle management frameworks.
