Explicitly calls out "vibe coding" and lists Cursor, Replit, and Bolt as high-velocity tools used for rapid prototyping and AI agent development.

About the Role

internXL is hiring an AI Trainer for a 6-week accelerator to teach, mentor, and provide hands-on technical support as teams build AI prototypes, culminating in an in-person hackathon in Atlanta. This is a temporary, contract role paid via a fixed-fee stipend and requires both virtual instruction and in-person mentorship during the hackathon.

Job Description

Role

internXL seeks experienced AI Trainers for a 6-week Innovation Challenge accelerator that culminates in a hands-on hackathon. Trainers will alternate between lead instructor, mentor, and technical consultant roles to guide teams from concept to pitch-ready prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver one full virtual lesson from the defined curriculum.
  • Attend other sessions to assist with student questions and support fellow trainers.
  • Host virtual office hours for technical Q&A and troubleshooting.
  • Provide in-person, on-the-floor mentorship during the hackathon (March 20–24, 2026).
  • Participate in final evaluations and provide feedback on team presentations and prototypes.

Technical Breadth

Trainers should be comfortable with:

  • Prompt and context engineering, including structuring data for LLMs.
  • Building and architecting AI agents and multi-agent systems.
  • High-velocity development tools and β€œvibe coding” workflows (examples: Cursor, Replit, Bolt).
  • Fine-tuning models and knowing when to specialize model behavior.
  • Translating technical implementations into persuasive pitches and value propositions.

Who You Are

  • A builder-educator with prior experience as a bootcamp instructor, developer advocate, technical speaker, or similar role.
  • Charismatic and engaging; able to sustain attention and motivate rapid prototyping teams.
  • Technically adept with a portfolio of AI projects or a strong software engineering background.
  • Able to be physically present in Atlanta for the in-person hackathon; the program is otherwise virtual.

Logistics & Compensation

  • Engagement type: Temporary / Contract (one-time engagement).
  • Start/End: Feb 9, 2026 – Mar 31, 2026.
  • Program delivery: Virtual sessions with required in-person hackathon attendance (Mar 20–24, 2026) in Atlanta, GA.
  • Compensation: Fixed-fee stipend paid in installments. Pay listed at $3,000.00–$5,000.00 per month.

Requirements

  • Prior experience teaching, mentoring, or delivering technical instruction in applied AI or software engineering.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience building AI projects, working with LLMs/agents, and rapid prototyping tools.
  • Local to Atlanta (physical presence required for the hackathon).
