Role
internXL seeks experienced AI Trainers for a 6-week Innovation Challenge accelerator that culminates in a hands-on hackathon. Trainers will alternate between lead instructor, mentor, and technical consultant roles to guide teams from concept to pitch-ready prototypes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver one full virtual lesson from the defined curriculum.
- Attend other sessions to assist with student questions and support fellow trainers.
- Host virtual office hours for technical Q&A and troubleshooting.
- Provide in-person, on-the-floor mentorship during the hackathon (March 20β24, 2026).
- Participate in final evaluations and provide feedback on team presentations and prototypes.
Technical Breadth
Trainers should be comfortable with:
- Prompt and context engineering, including structuring data for LLMs.
- Building and architecting AI agents and multi-agent systems.
- High-velocity development tools and βvibe codingβ workflows (examples: Cursor, Replit, Bolt).
- Fine-tuning models and knowing when to specialize model behavior.
- Translating technical implementations into persuasive pitches and value propositions.
Who You Are
- A builder-educator with prior experience as a bootcamp instructor, developer advocate, technical speaker, or similar role.
- Charismatic and engaging; able to sustain attention and motivate rapid prototyping teams.
- Technically adept with a portfolio of AI projects or a strong software engineering background.
- Able to be physically present in Atlanta for the in-person hackathon; the program is otherwise virtual.
Logistics & Compensation
