Role

WW Prime UX is hiring an AI UX Designer to create human-centered, consumer AI experiences across Prime. You will design agentic user interfaces and end-to-end customer journeys (discovery through launch and scale), collaborating closely with product, engineering, and applied science teams to balance craft, user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design AI interfaces including conversational UI, voice, and recommendation systems in partnership with engineering and applied science teams.
• Apply rapid prototyping approaches, including code-based and AI-assisted methods (e.g., vibe coding environments), to accelerate concept exploration and validation.
• Translate AI capabilities into intuitive conversational design patterns that build user confidence and trust.
• Design end-to-end Prime AI features and customer journeys from discovery through launch, iteration, and scale.
• Make Prime benefits more accessible and personalized through AI-assisted experiences.
• Define reusable design patterns and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability across Prime’s AI experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and applied scientists across Prime, Alexa, and Rufus.

A day in the life

• Audit conversational flows against Prime, Alexa, and Stores design systems and align with partner design teams.
• Present designs and rationale to cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Work with engineering to define knowledge bases, map content, intents, and data sources.
• Review usability study findings and document recommendations for iterative design.
• Prototype solutions using AI tools and share prototypes with cross-functional partners.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of design experience.
• 3+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience.
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar.
• Available online portfolio.
• Experience designing interaction patterns for generative interfaces and leveraging AI-driven workflows and models to design, prototype, and refine intelligent product features.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design.

Compensation and Location

• Location: USA, WA, Seattle.
• Base salary range listed: 117,800.00 - 160,000.00 USD annually.
• Package may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
