Role
The AI Vibe Coding Experience Lead will act as the technical bridge between non-technical internal builders and infrastructure, enabling safe development and deployment of vibe-coded applications. You will design templates, patterns, libraries, and an internal application zone, translate business ideas into technical specifications, provide system analysis and research, mentor peers, and act as an escalation point for defects and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an integration subject matter expert and advisor across Jack Henry products
- Consult with internal and external groups on product behavior and integration options
- Design and produce technical documentation, educational materials, and presentations
- Train and mentor less experienced peers and act as an escalation point
- Lead complex integration solutions for internal teams, customers, or third-party integrators
- Provide technical/engineering support from code delivery through application retirement
- Perform system analysis, programming, unit and integration testing, and research
- Provide individual and budget-level effort estimates and adhere to departmental standards
- Collaborate with customer support to diagnose and resolve defects
Requirements
- Minimum 9 years of experience in software engineering
- Experience with one or more of: .Net, Java, Golang, and/or Node.js
- Experience in a consulting or customer-facing role
- Experience with generative AI within a software development environment
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform
- Strong ability to communicate with both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Willingness/ability to travel up to 10% for meetings, training, or conferences
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in financial services or fintech
- Experience with Cursor or other vibe coding platforms
- Experience consulting to teams operating with legacy technologies
Location & Travel
- Role may be worked remotely from any of Jack Henry’s office locations (Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; Monett, MO; Birmingham, AL; Louisville, KY)
- Occasional travel may be required (up to 10%)
