AI Vibe Coding Experience Lead

Role

The AI Vibe Coding Experience Lead will bridge non-technical internal builders and platform/infrastructure teams by designing templates, patterns, and libraries that let non-developers build and deploy vibe-coded applications safely. The role establishes and manages an internal application zone, translates business ideas into technical specifications that meet security, monitoring, and integration standards, and provides mentorship and escalation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an integration subject matter expert and advisor across Jack Henry products.
• Consult internal and external groups on product behaviors and integration options.
• Design and document templates, patterns, and libraries for vibe-coded applications.
• Create technical design documentation, educational materials, and presentations.
• Train and mentor less experienced peers; act as an escalation point for defects and troubleshooting.
• Lead complex integration solutions for internal teams, customers, or third-party integrators.
• Perform system analysis, research, development, and testing (unit and integration).
• Provide technical/engineering support from code delivery through application retirement.
• Produce effort estimates and budget-level tasks; participate in defining and documenting standards and processes.
• Collaborate with customer support to diagnose and resolve defects.

Requirements

• Minimum 9 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience with one or more of: .Net, Java, Golang, and/or Node.js.
• Experience in a consulting or customer-facing role.
• Experience with generative AI within a software development environment.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong ability to communicate with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for meetings, trainings, or conferences.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in financial services or fintech.
• Experience with Cursor or other vibe coding platforms.
• Experience consulting to teams operating in legacy technologies.

Location & Work Type

• Hybrid role; may be worked remotely from Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; Monett, MO; Birmingham, AL; or Louisville, KY.
• Occasional travel up to 10% may be required. Onsite interview or in-person onboarding may be required.
