AI/ML Solution Architect

Role

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of large enterprise applications for a client’s member platform, focusing on AI/ML-enabled solutions and modern cloud-native architectures. Maintain customer relationships to gather requirements, review designs, and ensure alignment between technical approaches and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering meetings and translate business needs into architectural solutions.
• Maintain customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and clear communication.
• Evaluate technologies and lead proof-of-concept efforts to enable innovative solutions.
• Prioritize projects and make trade-offs across enterprise systems with business objectives in mind.
• Own the change request process and coordinate implementations across teams.
• Drive adoption of modern DevOps practices, instrumentation, and monitoring.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience designing and operating large, enterprise-wide application systems.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in object-oriented design and Python development.
• Experience with container platforms (EKS) and public cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience designing web applications using JavaScript, AngularJS, Node.js, Java, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience designing large mobile applications in React Native.
• Experience with microservices-based APIs and service mesh architectures.
• Experience implementing DevOps automation and tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, SonarQube, and Checkmarx.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices and tools like JIRA and Agilecraft.
• Experience with test automation tools such as qTest, WebDriverIO, and LambdaTest.
• Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., Splunk, DataDog, Instana).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring and leading teams, driving multiple or large projects, and providing hands-on development and troubleshooting support.
• Multi-database and multi-language experience.
• Experience developing AI agentic conversational chatbots, Agentic Process Automation (APA), recommendation engines, or hyper-personalization solutions.
• Experience with vibe coding and modern AI-assisted IDEs (Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot) and AI-first SDLC practices.

Compensation & Location

• Role Location: Remote
• Compensation Range: $122,000 - $183,000 per year (listed by employer)
