AINative Engineer responsible for developing AI-enhanced automations, integrating generative AI/LLM capabilities into applications and pipelines, and implementing RAG over SimCorp-related documentation. The role also designs and automates resilient AWS-based infrastructures and optimizes backend databases and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Automation
- Develop and support AI-enhanced automations for CI/CD, incident management, and runbooks.
- Integrate generative AI/LLM capabilities into applications and pipelines.
- Drive AI adoption within Apache Airflow, including workflow optimization and alerting.
- Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) over SimCorp documentation, runbooks, reconciliation rules, and operational knowledge.
Cloud, Infrastructure & Resiliency
- Build and maintain AWS solutions (Windows/Linux EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS Oracle, CloudWatch, IAM).
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and operations using Python, Bash, and Linux tools.
- Design and automate resiliency architectures including failover/failback and DR testing.
- Support platform upgrades, cloud migrations, security/vulnerability remediation, and language/runtime upgrades.
Database & Operations
- Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL and backend database components.
- Perform performance tuning, query diagnostics, patching, backup/recovery.
- Troubleshoot across application, infrastructure, and database layers.
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver end-to-end platform solutions.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Vibe Coding, Python, and Java.
- Deep experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, and database performance engineering.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered or AI-enabled cloud solutions and working with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and AWS Bedrock/SageMaker.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and enterprise operational engineering.
- Hands-on AWS experience: RDS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda.
- Proven experience automating failover/failback and resiliency testing.
- Strong background in SDLC, CI/CD (Git, Jenkins), diagnostics, and cross-stack troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Apache Airflow, ActiveBatch, and shell scripting.
- Infrastructure as Code experience (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK).
- Windows OS engineering experience.
- Financial services or large-scale enterprise experience.
- Experience with SimCorp Dimension.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5–10 years in software development, cloud engineering, or database engineering.
- AWS Professional-level certification(s) preferred.
