Johnson Service Group is seeking an experienced Application Developer (one-year contract) to support an enterprise application in the Forest Park, GA area. The role centers on front-end development, front-end architecture, and delivering strong user experiences within regulated, production-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Implement components and applications with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, VueJs/Ember).
- Work within enterprise cloud environments and collaborate on cloud-based solutions.
- Apply CI/CD and Git-based workflows to build, test, and deploy software.
- Use AI tools, copilots, or automation/AI agents to assist development and documentation.
- Collaborate directly with engineers and managers in the electric utility / operations domain.
- Operate in a regulated, production-critical enterprise environment, following required processes and controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, VueJs, Ember).
- Passion for user experience and understanding of front-end architecture.
- Experience in enterprise cloud environments and cloud technologies.
- Basic SQL skills and data modeling experience (including star schema / dimensional models).
- Familiarity with Databricks is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD and Git-based workflows.
- Modern development experience using AI tools or copilots; familiarity with automation/AI agents is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with engineers and managers in the electric utility/operations domain.
