Role

Lead the AI implementation strategy and architecture for distributed applications across the AMS portfolio and Product Engineering teams, focusing on automation, intelligent engineering workflows, and efficiency improvements. Provide architectural leadership for Banking domain projects and drive modernization toward cloud-native distributed frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive AI implementation strategy across portfolios and product teams.
• Architect and oversee design of distributed applications for scalability, performance, resilience, and maintainability.
• Embed AI-first principles in engineering workflows, including AI-assisted coding, testing, observability, and operations.
• Lead architecture reviews, solution-design workshops, and technical governance activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and migrate to cloud-native architectures.
• Mentor engineering teams on AI architecture, vibe coding practices, and modern engineering patterns.
• Engage with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into robust architecture solutions.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory, compliance, and security standards for Banking projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in architecting distributed systems with attention to scalability, performance, resilience, and maintainability.
• Demonstrated ability to define and implement AI strategies and integrate AI-assisted tooling into engineering workflows.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; capable of influencing engineering teams and technical governance.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and guiding migrations to cloud-native frameworks.
• Knowledge of observability practices, testing automation, and operational best practices.

• Background in Banking domain architectures, including core banking processes, regulatory context, and domain-driven design patterns.
