Role
Associate AI/ML Engineer responsible for building and integrating AI/ML models into production systems, developing scalable backend services, and creating intuitive front-end interfaces. The role emphasizes collaboration with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to translate business problems into technical solutions and to maintain performance and reliability in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to development of AI-enabled applications using modern tools and frameworks.
- Work with senior engineers to build, integrate, and deploy AI/ML models into production systems.
- Develop scalable backend services using Python or Java frameworks (examples: FastAPI, Spring) with focus on performance and clean design.
- Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React.js.
- Participate in building cloud-native applications on platforms such as GCP.
- Engage in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile development practices.
- Write clean, testable code and contribute to unit testing and automation efforts.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute proactively to team goals.
AI Builder / GenAI Responsibilities
- Use GenAI tools (Copilot, Claude, Gemini AI) to ideate, prototype, and implement features efficiently.
- Apply vibe coding techniques to maintain clean, expressive, and AI-augmented codebases.
- Develop internal tools and scripts using AI to automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity.
- Stay current with emerging GenAI trends, tools, and ethical considerations.
Requirements
- Degree: B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech or equivalent (16+ years of education) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline; candidates from NIT or IIT and graduating in 2026 are targeted.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and interest in areas such as NLP, computer vision, and LLMs.
- Experience or familiarity with backend development using Python or Java.
- Experience or familiarity with front-end development using React.js or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) or NoSQL systems.
- Experience or willingness to adopt coding assistant tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in daily development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and basic cloud-native development practices (GCP mentioned).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic integration patterns.
- Ability to work in Agile teams; strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
