About the Role

The Associate Technical Success Manager will support customer onboarding and early adoption of New Relic’s observability platform, helping customers integrate the platform, run initial trainings, and build technical relationships to drive platform utilization and expansion.

Job Description

Role

As an Associate Technical Success Manager, you will enable customers to adopt and realize value from New Relic’s observability platform. You will support technical onboarding, deliver foundational training, and work with technical stakeholders to align the platform to customer objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support technical onboarding and assist customers integrating New Relic into their cloud environments.
  • Conduct fundamental training sessions and create introductory educational resources.
  • Monitor and contribute to Mutual Activity Plans, tracking customer progress and providing basic insights.
  • Interact with technical stakeholders to understand initial goals and align platform usage.
  • Partner with customers to develop business cases for expansion and quantify impact through reporting.
  • Present platform capabilities, create content, and provide ongoing training to ensure proficiency.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Certified or equivalent experience in a cloud technology (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Technical knowledge of cloud-native technologies including Cloud, Containers, and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language listed (Java, PHP, Ruby, Node.js, Python) or SQL scripting for integration support.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role within SaaS or tech sectors.
  • Strong technical communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
  • Proactive problem-solving, analytical skills, and strong written communication.
  • Experience with AI tools and prompt engineering / natural language processing for information retrieval or solution development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in a second language (Spanish, Portuguese, French).
