Role
Associate User Researcher supporting the client’s UX/UR chapter to deliver operational and executional research work that informs the design and delivery of digital products across eCommerce, point-of-sale, onboarding, and internal tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day research activities in coordination with the Lead User Researcher and other researchers.
- Assist with participant recruitment, session scheduling, and preparation of research materials.
- Capture detailed notes and observations during interviews, usability tests, and workshops.
- Compile and organize raw data for analysis and reporting; develop and maintain a tagging taxonomy in a research repository to structure data for context engineering and AI-driven insights.
- Contribute to research documentation, journey maps, and persona updates.
- Support short-turnaround usability tests, surveys, and other tactical research activities.
- Ensure research data handling complies with privacy, accessibility, and ethics standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in UX research, research operations, or a related field (internships, academic projects, or transferable experience welcome).
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods (interviews, surveys, usability testing).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable with note-taking, documentation, and structuring research data.
- Ability to collaborate with researchers, designers, product managers, and analysts.
- Proficiency with basic research tools (e.g., Google Meets, Miro, Excel/Sheets); exposure to UserTesting and/or Dovetail is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and interest in career growth via mentorship.
Logistics
- Location: Radnor, PA (Hybrid: 0–3 days in office/week; typically 1 day/week scheduled by manager)
- Contract: 6–12 months, potential for extension
- Compensation: $46/hr on W2
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM EST
