Role
Associate UX Designer on the Digital Enterprise Experience (DEX) UX Design team, an internal-facing innovation group focused on improving employee experiences across Salesforce’s internal systems. You’ll collaborate with researchers, strategists, and technologists to deliver human-centered, AI-informed prototypes and product designs that address enterprise business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion design thinking and a human-centered approach in strategic enterprise transformation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support innovation sprints and deliver build-ready design artifacts.
- Support stakeholder and secondary research and participate in end-user primary research to surface meaningful pain points and needs.
- Facilitate and participate in collaborative workshops; synthesize insights into visions, frameworks, and concepts.
- Support concept validation, co-design sessions, and end-user testing.
- Apply design systems to deliver consistent and intuitive UI/UX across internal products.
- Create, test, and share tools and methods to improve innovation engagements and multiply insight value.
Team / Context
DEX UX Design partners with internal business stakeholders (Employee Success, Global Safety & Security, Sales, Customer Success, etc.) to design AI-driven, employee-centric solutions. Work includes strategic advisory, research, ideation, rapid prototyping, storytelling, and product design for enterprise internal applications.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience (including internships) in design or related roles.
- Degree in HCI, interaction design, product design, communication design, design thinking, or a related field.
- Ability to rapidly prototype ideas (from hand-drawn storyboards to functioning digital prototypes).
- Strong understanding of design thinking and user-centered practices.
- Experience working alongside software developers and a solid understanding of the software development process.
- Proficiency with Figma, Figjam, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, LucidChart; experience with GPT models is expected and Cursor and/or vibe-coding experience is a plus.
- Exemplary verbal, presentation, and written communication skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Positive, iterative mindset and ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, and Architecture partners.
- An online or digital portfolio is required.
