Automation Solutions Architect, AI Accelerator Team

Role

Meta’s Scaled Operations AI Accelerator Team seeks an Automation Solutions Architect to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions that improve operational efficiency at scale. This role partners with process owners, engineers, product managers, and vendors to assess and optimize processes, lead technical architecture, and manage implementation and change management.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, map, and redesign internal operational workflows to surface opportunities for AI-driven automation
• Collaborate with process owners and cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure successful automation outcomes
• Architect end-to-end automation solutions with attention to scalability, robustness, and Meta standards
• Manage complex programs and projects, including requirements gathering, timeline management, and deliverable oversight
• Lead change management strategies to support employees and teams through automation transitions
• Drive cross-functional engagement with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and external partners
• Communicate technical concepts and project status to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experiment with AI/ML tools and new approaches to foster continuous improvement
• Develop playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices to scale automations
• Manage contractor or vendor relationships for technical design and implementation
• Track, analyze, and report on key metrics and business impact of automation initiatives

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
• 12+ years of experience in systems architecture and solution design
• 8+ years of experience in process analysis or business operations
• Experience with AI/ML or automation projects, including end-to-end solution delivery
• Expertise in API integration and automation frameworks
• Demonstrated program/project management experience managing complex, cross-functional deliverables
• Strong communication skills for technical topics
• Experience supporting change management with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meta’s internal tools and platforms (e.g., Vibe Coding, internal automation frameworks)
• Familiarity with Scaled Operations processes and FTE workflows
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or related field experience
• Experience developing playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices for automation at scale

Compensation

• Base salary range listed: $177,000/year to $246,000/year. Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, and other company benefits.
