Automation Solutions Architect, AI Accelerator Team

Role

Meta’s Scaled Operations AI Accelerator Team is hiring an Automation Solutions Architect to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven automation solutions that transform operational processes at scale. This role focuses on assessing and optimizing processes, leading technical design, and managing implementation to deliver measurable impact across Scaled Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, map, and redesign internal operational workflows to identify pain points and opportunities for AI-driven automation
• Collaborate with process owners and cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure successful automation outcomes
• Architect end-to-end automation solutions with emphasis on scalability, robustness, and compliance with Meta standards
• Manage complex projects including requirements gathering, timeline management, and deliverable oversight
• Lead change management efforts and develop strategies to support teams through transitions caused by automation
• Drive cross-functional engagement with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and external partners
• Communicate technical concepts and project status to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experiment with AI/ML advancements and new tools to foster innovation and continuous improvement
• Develop playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices to scale successful automations
• Manage contract workers or vendors to support technical design, development, and implementation
• Track, analyze, and report key metrics and business impact of automation initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
• 12+ years of experience in systems architecture and solution design
• 8+ years of experience in process analysis or business operations
• Experience with AI/ML or automation projects, including end-to-end solution delivery
• Expertise in API integration and automation frameworks
• Demonstrated program/project management skills and experience managing complex, cross-functional deliverables
• Strong communication skills and experience supporting change management with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meta’s internal tools and platforms (e.g., Vibe Coding, internal automation frameworks)
• Familiarity with Scaled Operations processes and FTE workflows
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or related field
• Experience developing playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices for automation at scale

Compensation

• Base salary range listed: $182,000/year to $255,000/year (plus bonus, equity, and benefits)
