Automation Solutions Architect, AI Accelerator Team

Role

The Automation Solutions Architect on the AI Accelerator Team will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven automation solutions to transform Scaled Operations processes at scale. This role leads technical design, process assessment and optimization, implementation, and change management for high-priority automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, map, and redesign internal operational workflows to identify pain points and AI-driven automation opportunities
• Collaborate with process owners and cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure successful automation outcomes
• Architect end-to-end automation solutions that are scalable, robust, and compliant with Meta standards
• Manage complex projects including requirements gathering, timeline management, and deliverable oversight
• Develop and execute change management strategies to support employees and teams through automation transitions
• Drive cross-functional engagement with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and external partners
• Communicate technical concepts and project status clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements and experiment with new tools and approaches
• Develop playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices to scale automations across Scaled Operations
• Manage contract workers or vendor relationships to support technical design and implementation
• Track, analyze, and report on key metrics and business impact of automation initiatives

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical experience
• 12+ years of experience in systems architecture and solution design
• 8+ years of experience in process analysis or business operations
• Experience with AI/ML or automation projects, including end-to-end solution delivery
• Expertise in API integration and automation frameworks
• Demonstrated program/project management experience managing complex, cross-functional deliverables
• Experience communicating technical topics to diverse audiences
• Experience supporting change management with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meta’s internal tools and platforms (e.g., Vibe Coding, internal automation frameworks)
• Familiarity with Scaled Operations processes and FTE workflows
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or related field
• Experience developing playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices for automation at scale

Compensation

Base salary range: $177,000 to $246,000 per year. Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, and other benefits (varies by skills, qualifications, experience, and location).
