Role
As a Business Development & Strategy Operations Manager you will own initiatives to optimize lead steering and the booking journey, reduce funnel drop-offs, design alternative sales funnels, and measurably improve conversion and throughput. The role pairs strategic analysis with hands‑on implementation and works closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Product leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement lead-steering mechanisms for lead distribution and prioritization
- Develop and test reactivation products for lost leads
- Build and scale alternative sales funnels
- Analyze and optimize booking and closing processes to increase conversion rates and reduce cycle time
- Define, track and interpret funnel and performance KPIs
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive concrete improvements
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, CPO and CSO
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of relevant experience in fast-paced, high-performance environments
- Strong academic background (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or comparable quantitative degree)
- Proven impact in relevant prior roles (consulting, VC/PE, venture building, start-up/scale-up experience preferred)
- Hands-on mentality with operational implementation experience
- Exposure to Sales and/or Marketing, particularly funnel or performance contexts
- Ideally have developed with AI (“Vibe Coding” is explicitly mentioned) or implemented AI solutions
- Fluent German (written and spoken)
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- Prior measurable impact on conversion or booking processes
- Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management and process scaling
