Role
Cadence IT is hiring a Business Systems Analyst in San Jose, CA to support Quote-to-Cash and Customer Support processes. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions, identifying automation opportunities, and leveraging AI-assisted techniques (including vibe coding and agentic AI) to accelerate validation and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Customer Support to define future-state end-to-end workflows and success metrics (cycle time, handoffs eliminated, adoption, compliance).
- Design and deliver Salesforce solutions optimized for scalability, performance, and native platform functionality.
- Assess upstream/downstream impacts across integrated systems; document system interactions, data dependencies, and exception paths.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria, including agent-ready rules and guardrails.
- Support M&A application integration: system impact analysis, data migration, and post-acquisition alignment.
- Use AI-assisted delivery techniques (vibe coding, rapid prototyping) to validate concepts quickly and accelerate iteration.
- Design and leverage AI agents and workflow orchestration to automate complex end-to-end business processes with governance, exception handling, and access controls.
- Provide functional leadership to development and QA teams; drive UAT readiness, test planning, and end-to-end validation.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, InfoSec, and Enterprise Architecture to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to enterprise standards.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of Business Systems Analyst experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
- 1+ years of Salesforce/application experience, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Conga CPQ, and marketing apps such as Marketo or HubSpot.
- Strong understanding of Sales & Support processes (Quote-to-Cash, order management, billing/revenue, case management, entitlements).
- Knowledge of the Salesforce data model and security (profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, data governance).
- Experience in Agile/iterative delivery environments (backlog refinement, sprint planning, incremental releases).
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping or AI-assisted development techniques (vibe coding, low code/no code) to accelerate validation and delivery.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to drive clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, Administrator, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
- Experience with CRM, CPQ, ERP and related platforms.
- Experience designing and leveraging AI agents and workflow orchestration for automation.
- Experience in high-tech or semiconductor industries supporting complex, global integrations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly salary range for California: $39.71 to $73.75 per hour.
- Eligible for incentive compensation: bonus, equity; sales roles may have On Target Earnings (OTE).
