Role
Cadence IT seeks a Business Systems Analyst (San Jose, CA) with Salesforce expertise to analyze and optimize workflows across Marketing and Quote-to-Cash. The role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to design end-to-end processes, translate business needs into functional specifications, and leverage AI-assisted delivery (including vibe coding and rapid prototyping) to accelerate validation and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Customer Support to define future-state, end-to-end workflows and success metrics (cycle time, handoffs eliminated, adoption, compliance).
- Design and deliver Salesforce solutions optimized for scalability, performance, and native platform functionality.
- Assess upstream/downstream impacts across integrated systems; document system interactions, data dependencies, and exception paths.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria, including agent-ready rules and guardrails.
- Provide functional leadership and guidance to development and QA throughout design, build, and testing phases.
- Drive UAT readiness: test planning, end-to-end validation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, InfoSec, and Enterprise Architecture to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to enterprise standards.
- Leverage AI-assisted delivery techniques (vibe coding/rapid prototyping) and design AI agents and workflow orchestration to automate complex business processes with governance and exception handling.
Requirements
Required
- 3–4 years of Business Systems Analyst experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
- 2+ years of Salesforce/application experience (including Sales Cloud, Conga CPQ and marketing apps such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Pardot).
- Strong understanding of Marketing & Sales processes (lead generation/qualification, Quote-to-Cash).
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping or AI-assisted development techniques (e.g., vibe coding, low-code/no-code).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and security (permission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, data governance).
- Experience in Agile/iterative delivery environments (backlog refinement, sprint planning, incremental releases).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or Software Engineering.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to align cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud).
- Experience with CRM, CPQ, ERP platforms and designing/leveraging AI agents and workflow orchestration.
- Experience in high-tech or semiconductor industry supporting complex, global processes.
