Job Description
Role
Terac is seeking Campus Ambassadors to represent the company on top US campuses, recruit skilled experts for its marketplace, and organize campus events that drive awareness and expert sign-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert acquisition: run marketing campaigns and outreach to identify and onboard top students and researchers.
- Event marketing and logistics: organize and host on-campus events such as technical roundtables, dinners for AI researchers, and hackathons; manage budgets for events.
- Community engagement: build credibility and presence on platforms like Reddit, Discord, and Slack; engage research communities and university groups.
- Measurement and optimization: track and report key marketplace metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC), run experiments, measure impact, and iterate on initiatives.
- Automation and tooling: adopt and create repeatable workflows using modern AI assistants and automation tools.
- Team communication: meet regularly with the San Francisco marketing team and leadership to align on priorities and report results.
Requirements
- Current student at a US university (targeting top campuses); ability to run campus programs and events.
- Strong bias to action and comfort operating with high ownership and autonomy.
- Data-driven mindset: ability to track, measure, and interpret metrics like LTV and CAC.
- Community-building and event marketing experience (organizing hackathons, roundtables, or similar events).
- Familiarity with online community platforms (e.g., Reddit, Discord, Slack) and ability to build credibility among peers and researchers.
- Comfortable with “vibe-coding” and using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to automate repeatable workflows.
- Willingness to work remotely and attend quarterly all-hands in downtown San Francisco.
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly stipend plus a budget to host events.

Logistics
- Remote role with quarterly on-site all-hands in downtown San Francisco.
