Cloud Infrastructure Services Specialist

Role

Lead development and maintenance of large, enterprise-wide application systems for a client’s member platform. Act as a technical lead across projects, driving architecture, design reviews, and hands-on development while maintaining alignment with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain active relationships with customers to understand and gather business requirements; lead requirements meetings and review design proposals.
• Prioritize projects and make trade-offs aligned with business objectives.
• Lead technology evaluations and participate in proofs-of-concept.
• Conduct technical design and code reviews and ensure unit testing meets test-plan requirements.
• Mentor team members, drive teams to achieve results, and lead multiple or large projects with hands-on development and troubleshooting support.
• Implement and lead adoption of DevOps process automation and instrumentation/monitoring for large systems.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in object-oriented design and cloud/container platforms (EKS) on public cloud (AWS).
• Experience with architecture, design, and hands-on development of large web applications using Web 2.0 technologies: JavaScript, AngularJS, NodeJS, Java, CSS, HTML.
• Experience designing large mobile applications with React Native.
• Experience in design and architecture of microservices-based APIs and service mesh.
• Experience developing modern ETL jobs in Hadoop or AWS EMR using Python and working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience implementing DevOps automation using Bitbucket, Bamboo, SonarQube, and Checkmarx.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices and Agile tools such as JIRA and Agilecraft.
• Experience with test automation tools and practices (qTest, WebDriverIO, Lambda Test).
• Experience implementing system instrumentation and monitoring (Splunk, DataDog, Instana).
• Experience mentoring others, providing technical leadership, and performing technical design/code reviews.

Preferred / Additional

• Experience with “vibe coding” and modern IDEs (Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot) and AI-first SDLC and AI agents is strongly preferred.

Location & Compensation

• Role Location: Remote
• Compensation Range: $87,000 - $131,000 per year (as stated by employer)
