Role
The Community Engagement Manager is a hands-on role responsible for executing engagement across Base44’s community channels (primarily Discord and Reddit). The focus is on operational execution—moderation, running recurring initiatives, onboarding content, and ensuring the community feels active, welcoming, and energized.
Key Responsibilities
- Own daily participation and moderation in community channels to initiate conversations, respond to members, and represent Base44’s voice and values.
- Plan and execute engagement campaigns end-to-end (build challenges, AMAs, feature launches, polls, discussion series), including recruitment, promotion, and performance analysis.
- Maintain content calendars, schedules, and recurring posts; create onboarding-focused engagement content.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to bring timely engagement ideas into the community.
- Surface product feedback, questions, and sentiment into actionable insights for Support and Product teams.
- Track and report engagement metrics (participation, posts, comments, campaign performance) and use data and qualitative feedback to iterate on tactics.
Requirements
- Experience managing or moderating online communities (Discord, Reddit, Slack, forums, or similar).
- Strong written communication skills and a natural ability to engage people online.
- Proven experience using vibe coding tools; candidates will be asked to demonstrate what they’ve built.
- Comfortable being highly hands-on and operational; strong execution and follow-through.
- Experience running online campaigns, challenges, or community events.
- Familiarity with community analytics or engagement tracking and experience working with product or engineering teams.

Compensation & Benefits
- Expected base salary range: $85,000 - $110,000 (base). Final package may include company RSUs.
