Job Description
Role
You will own content production and distribution for a developer tools company building localization infrastructure. The role focuses on producing technical content for senior engineers, distributing it across owned and external channels, measuring impact, and automating repeatable parts of the production pipeline using AI and scripting.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and produce mechanism-dense technical content targeted at senior engineers and engineering leads.
- Distribute every piece across owned channels (site, email, newsletter) and external platforms (Hacker News, dev.to, LinkedIn, Reddit) on publish day.
- Manage social presence: draft posts, queue content, and maintain publishing slots.
- Own SEO/GEO and AI visibility metrics; track citations, rankings, and compound growth.
- Run Google Ads campaigns: setup, budget management, and measurement against pipeline.
- Book founders on podcasts and external content opportunities.
- Build example repos and demo projects when content requires working artifacts (vibe coding).
- Build and maintain the production pipeline: automate draft generation, distribution, scheduling, and reporting using AI workflows and scripts.
- Own outcome metrics (signups, citations, rankings, backlinks) and close the loop on content performance.
Requirements
- Proven track record shipping content that gained traction (newsletters with real subscribers, front-page posts, technical content shared by developers).
- Strong technical writing skills: mechanism-first, fact-backed, and targeted at engineers.
- Ability to code and automate workflows (scripting, building draft generators, scheduling pipelines).
- Daily use of AI workflows for production at scale; strong prompting and quality judgment.
- Distribution-first mindset with knowledge of platforms’ incentives (e.g., Hacker News, LinkedIn).
- Ownership of metrics and ability to measure content impact on pipeline.
Nice to have
- Experience marketing developer tools or infrastructure products.
- Familiarity with localization, i18n, or multilingual software.
- Background in demand generation and pipeline-focused content programs.
- Experience producing category-level research and essays.
Do not apply if
- You are not a power user of Claude / Claude Cowork / Claude Code.
- You treat content strategy as only a spreadsheet and calendar.
- You lack intent or experience using AI tools to produce content at speed.
- You require constant direction on what to write or describe yourself as “not technical.”
- Your portfolio is generic corporate B2B content without technical depth or product fit.
