Creative Director - Remote

Role

We are hiring a remote Visual Designer (Creative Director - remote title) to help critique, experiment with, and shape how AI understands and simulates multi‑modal design workflows across mediums. The position is an independent contractor engagement, part‑time or full‑time, starting in late December.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute 10–20 hours per week (with potential to increase based on performance).
• Work asynchronously with a cross‑disciplinary team of designers.
• Craft, critique, and review experimental design workflows that integrate frontier AI models.
• Experiment with multimodal design across websites, apps, brand/marketing assets, and advanced new media.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience in graphic or UI design.
• Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
• Strong background in creating high‑quality digital or immersive visual designs with unique aesthetics.
• Exposure to LLMs, GenAI prompting, and vibe coding.
• Proficiency with creative coding tools (HTML/CSS, Processing, three.js).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Interview Process

• Short AI interview focused on your creative process.
• Portfolio review and a writing assessment following the interview.

Work Mode, Schedule, and Start Date

• Fully remote; work can be completed on your own schedule.
• Independent contractor engagement; can be part‑time or full‑time contract.
• Role begins in late December; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

Contract & Payment Terms

• Engaged as an independent contractor; projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on needs and performance.
• Work will not require access to confidential or proprietary information from other employers or clients.
• Payments are issued weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
