Creative Director - Remote

Role

We are seeking a Creative Director to critique, experiment with, and shape how AI understands and simulates multi-modal design workflows across mediums. The role focuses on creating and reviewing experimental design workflows with frontier AI models and collaborating asynchronously with a team of designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Work 10–20 hours per week (potential to increase based on performance).
• Craft, critique, and review experimental design workflows that leverage frontier AI models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with designers across disciplines.
• Participate in iterative prototyping and experimentation of AI-assisted design processes.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience in graphic or UI design.
• Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
• Strong background in high-quality digital or immersive visual design (websites/apps, brand/marketing assets, new media).
• Exposure to working with LLMs, generative AI prompting, and vibe coding.
• Proficiency with creative coding tools, including HTML/CSS, Processing, and three.js.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Logistics / Contract

• Engagement type: Independent contractor. Schedule: Full-time or part-time contract with initial commitment of 10–20 hours/week.
• Start date: Role begins in late December; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
• Fully remote; work can be completed on your own schedule and is asynchronous.
• Payments are weekly via Stripe or Wise.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.

• Short portfolio review and writing assessment following the interview.
