Explicitly references "vibe code" dashboards and expects leveraging AI tools (Snowflake-native AI, Cortex, Claude Code, Streamlit) to accelerate analytics workflows.

About the Role

You will own analytics for Paxos-issued stablecoins and rewards initiatives, building core metrics, dashboards, and analyses to guide product, rewards, and regulatory work. The role combines advanced SQL, dashboarding, data modeling (Snowflake + dbt), and AI-powered tooling to deliver decision-ready outputs across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Account Management.

Job Description

Role

As a Data Analyst you will own analytics for Paxos-issued tokens and Rewards, defining core metrics, building dashboards, and producing analyses to inform product, rewards, network strategy and regulatory/reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own analytics as a product for Paxos-issued tokens and Rewards: define metrics, build dashboards, and deliver analyses that inform product and network strategy.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into well-scoped data problems and deliver decision-ready outputs (dashboards, analyses, memos, reports).
  • Partner with data engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to shape and improve data models in Snowflake and dbt; ensure domains are well-modeled, trusted, and documented.
  • Use AI-powered tooling (Snowflake-native AI, Cortex, Claude/Claude Code, Streamlit apps) to accelerate analysis, improve model quality, and prototype analytics workflows.
  • Contribute to regulatory reporting, audits, and exam requests, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years in data and analytics roles (e.g., Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, Technical Product Analyst), ideally in product or fintech environments.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for querying large, complex datasets and reasoning about data model design.
  • Hands-on dashboarding and visualization experience with Looker, Metabase, or Tableau, including designing new dashboards and metric frameworks.
  • Practical experience with metrics development, data modeling concepts, and basic statistics, using a modern warehouse + modeling stack (e.g., Snowflake + dbt).
  • Comfort with Git-based workflows for analytics assets (branching, pull requests, code review, CI/CD).
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI in analytics workflows (Snowflake-native AI, Cortex, Claude Code, Streamlit) to accelerate analysis and prototype workflows.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder requirements-gathering skills; ability to tailor messaging for product, engineering, finance, and account management audiences.
  • Growth mindset, adaptability, and willingness to experiment with new tools and approaches.

Team Context

The Analytics team partners across product, operations, risk, and commercial teams to build trustworthy metrics, intuitive dashboards, and clear analyses that support data-driven decisions at Paxos.
