Role
The Deployment Strategist owns the post-sale journey for enterprise AI solutions, transforming high-level commitments into live, ROI-driven deployments. Reporting to the CEO, this is a high-visibility role with a pathway to Lead within 6–9 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple client deployments from initial architectural design through go-live.
- Serve as primary point of contact for VP-level stakeholders and manage executive engagements.
- Design data models and workflows with client teams to convert messy real-world data into structured execution plans.
- Translate complex customer requirements into actionable specifications for internal engineering teams.
- Partner with Sales on late-stage deals to define scope and identify expansion opportunities.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated blend of technical ability (e.g., CS degree, SWE internship, or proficiency in hands-on coding) and client-facing excellence (e.g., consulting or solutions engineering experience).
- Experience working at deployment-heavy firms or early-stage startups preferred.
- Strong consulting-grade communication, executive presence, and ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Proven comfort operating in high-velocity, meritocratic environments with extreme ownership.
Preferred Background
- Experience at firms like Palantir, Databricks, Scale AI, or similar deployment-focused organizations is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise AI implementation and claims processing domains is a plus.
Compensation & Location
- Salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per year, plus equity.
- Location: San Francisco, CA — in-person, 5 days per week.
