Design Solution Engineer

Role

The Design Solutions Engineer partners with Account and Strategic Solution Engineers to produce reusable, scalable assets and demos that support strategic business priorities across the CBS (Consumer Business Services) organization. This role focuses on creating visual demos, prototypes, microsite strategy, and executive-ready deliverables to scale go-to-market efforts and support customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with Strategic Solution Engineers and account teams to deliver scale-focused initiatives.
• Create beautifully branded, executive-ready demo assets, presentation decks, one-pagers, and visual prototypes.
• Lead the CBS microsite strategy to maximize customer impact through scalable assets.
• Produce demo videos, self-guided click-through demos, holodecks, and motion graphics.
• Build custom apps and web components to support product demos and bespoke account needs.
• Support customer workshops with prototyping, visual mockups, and interactive outputs.
• Assist with RFP responses, packaging complex bill-of-materials into executive-ready formats.
• Maintain a clean library of reusable assets, templates, and frameworks for the territory and broader team.
• Experiment and prototype with new technologies and mediums to enhance customer engagements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of design experience in-house, agency, or consulting practice.
• Background in graphic design, communication design, or UX design.
• Experience with demo tools like Saleo and Cursor; experience with demo vibe coding.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Google Slides.
• Strong craft in typography, visual hierarchy, photography curation, and digital experiences.
• Ability to quickly prototype from hand-drawn storyboards to polished interactive prototypes.
• Proven presentation skills, including C-suite level communication and delivery.
• Track record in solution engineering, consulting, delivery, or training for enterprise software.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce solutions and Cross Cloud technologies.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, just-in-time environments and within a sales organization.
• Strong prioritization, collaboration, critical thinking, and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years as a solution or sales engineer for a CRM company or similar technology.
• Experience in Core Solution Engineering and CBS industry segments.

Compensation & Benefits

• Typical base salary range listed: $134,750 - $180,250 annually.
• Location-specific base salary range (California, New York, and select metropolitan areas): $148,190 - $198,170 annually.
