Role
Development Engineer I (Associate Developer) working on full-stack applications, cloud-native services, and Generative AI–enabled solutions. The role involves hands-on development, debugging, testing, and collaboration with senior engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver scalable enterprise software and AI-powered features.
Key Responsibilities
- Full stack development: build and maintain web applications, responsive UI components, and REST/FastAPI/GraphQL APIs; write clean, maintainable, and testable code; participate in code reviews.
- Cloud & platform engineering: develop and deploy applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP); work with compute, storage, databases, CI/CD, containers, and cloud security; support monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
- Generative AI & vibe coding: assist in building GenAI features (chatbots, copilots, assistants); work with agentic frameworks like Google ADK; interact with LLMs via APIs, apply prompt engineering basics, and use AI tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation; experiment with embeddings, vector search, and RAG patterns.
- Learning & collaboration: continuously learn technologies and AI concepts; collaborate with Product, UX, Data, and AI teams; contribute to technical documentation; follow secure coding, data privacy, and ethical AI guidelines.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- Technical: basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python (or similar); understanding of HTML and CSS and basic front-end frameworks; basic backend and API knowledge; familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases; awareness of cloud concepts, CI/CD, containers, and cloud security.
- GenAI fundamentals: basic understanding of Generative AI and LLMs, exposure to agentic frameworks (Google ADK), experience or familiarity with ChatGPT/Copilot or similar tools, and interest in prompt engineering and AI integration.
- Professional: strong problem-solving, logical thinking, curiosity, communication, collaboration, growth mindset, and ownership.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to React, Angular, or Vue; experience with Node.js, Spring Boot, or Python frameworks; hands-on cloud platform projects; familiarity with Git, Agile, and DevOps practices; academic or personal AI/ML projects.
