Role
Digital Innovation Specialist (12-month fixed-term) reporting to the Operations & Innovation Director, Health Finance. Support a distributed team of ~10 and 10–15 financial inclusion partners across Asia and Africa by designing, building and rolling out internal digital systems, dashboards and automations.
Location: based in India, Bangladesh or Nepal.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain internal tools and dashboards using vibe coding / AI-assisted development, including multi-country program and partner budget trackers.
- Develop agents and simple automations to streamline internal workflows and reporting.
- Assist with the rollout and adoption of new internal platforms and systems as the program scales.
- Identify practical opportunities to use AI tools (including Claude) to automate processes and reporting.
- Work with distributed team members and partner organisations to capture workflow needs and coordinate digital projects, timelines and stakeholders.
- Create clear documentation and provide basic training and support to ensure colleagues can adopt new tools confidently.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (information systems, computer science, digital innovation) or equivalent demonstrated interest/aptitude.
- Some hands-on exposure to vibe coding or AI-assisted development tools (through study, projects or work experience).
- Experience with or strong interest in Claude, Claude Code or Claude Cowork and building connectors to Microsoft suite is preferred.
- Interest or early experience building simple automations/agents to streamline workflows.
- PMO mindset: comfortable tracking multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders in an organised way.
- Good communication skills and ability to work across a distributed, multicultural team.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn on the job.
- Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial team with flexibility to shape the role.
