The role leads Confluence-to-SharePoint migrations, designs information architecture, builds lightweight apps and automations, and optimizes content for search and AI-driven discovery.

Role
The Digital Lead will join DMI’s offshore India team to modernize internal digital assets and marketing technology operations. The role focuses on SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 governance, Confluence-to-SharePoint migrations, AI-assisted development and automation, information architecture, content discoverability, and cross-functional enablement for Marketing and Corporate teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Confluence-to-SharePoint migrations: discovery, planning, content mapping, permissions review, execution, and post-migration validation.
- Design scalable SharePoint information architecture (sites, hubs, libraries, lists, metadata, navigation, templates, content types).
- Use migration tools (ShareGate, Microsoft Migration Manager, PowerShell) and ensure content quality, findability, accessibility, and governance.
- Apply generative and agentic AI, AI code assistants, vibe coding platforms, and low-code/no-code tools to accelerate prototyping, site builds, workflows, dashboards, and internal utilities.
- Build lightweight applications, automation scripts, integrations, and reusable components (Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps) to improve marketing and corporate team productivity.
- Optimize content for AI and search (Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, LLM discovery, semantic search, SEO/AEO/GEO optimization, structured content and entity clarity).
- Administer and govern SharePoint Online environments: access controls, metadata, taxonomy, lifecycle governance, retention, and permissions hygiene.
- Integrate SharePoint with Teams, OneDrive, and other marketing and IT systems; monitor adoption, usability, content quality, and platform performance.
- Support security, compliance, and information governance in collaboration with IT and Security teams.
- Provide regular reporting on migration progress, risks, adoption metrics, and roadmap priorities; collaborate with external vendors as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, digital workplace platforms, web systems, or martech environments.
- Proven experience leading or supporting Confluence-to-SharePoint migrations or similar enterprise knowledge platform transitions.
- Experience working with Marketing, Corporate Communications, IT, or internal operations teams preferred.
- Experience in IT services, consulting, B2B technology, or enterprise environments is strongly preferred.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Confluence, Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint administration.
- Content migration planning, information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, permissions, governance, and content lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with migration tools such as ShareGate, Microsoft Migration Manager, and PowerShell.
- Strong working knowledge of generative AI, agentic AI, AI-assisted development, vibe coding platforms, code assistants, and automation tools.
- Ability to use AI tools for prototyping, web development, workflow automation, content migration, QA, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of martech, SEO, analytics, and digital reporting platforms; understanding of AI-powered discovery impacts on SEO/AEO/GEO/LLM.
- Stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate business needs into platform solutions.
Good-to-Have
- Experience with WordPress, HubSpot, GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker Studio, and marketing automation platforms.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, accessibility standards, privacy requirements, and enterprise digital governance.
- Experience with AI-assisted development platforms (examples listed), Copilot Studio, Power Platform AI Builder, SharePoint Syntex, and Microsoft Graph.
- Certifications: Microsoft 365 Administrator/Teams/SharePoint, Power Platform, migration/governance/digital workplace, or AI/prompt engineering-related training.
