Role
The Digital Strategy & Innovation Lead will shape and execute Ralph Lauren’s enterprise digital vision by developing forward-looking strategies, identifying emerging technologies, and driving programs that translate innovation into measurable business impact. This role partners with senior leaders across technology, commercial, marketing, retail, operations, finance, and communications to embed digital priorities and accelerate transformation through experimentation and scaled delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute digital strategies aligned to industry shifts and enterprise growth goals.
- Lead product and program management from ideation through launch, including business case development, funding, KPI definition, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Drive cross-functional influence and stakeholder management across executive and operational teams.
- Design and run structured, agile frameworks for experimentation, proof-of-concept pilots, and rapid validation of new ideas and technologies.
- Identify, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies (AI, automation, data analytics, personalization) to accelerate market learning and customer experience improvements.
- Establish governance, best practices, and scalable frameworks for innovation, experimentation, and performance measurement.
- Cultivate external partnerships with technology vendors, startups, and industry leaders to expand the innovation ecosystem and accelerate capability building.
- Champion change management and cultural adoption of digital-first tools and practices across the enterprise.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in digital strategy, product management, or innovation within retail, consumer, or technology-driven industries.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI, data platforms, and the end-to-end digital product development lifecycle.
- Experience with ecommerce, mobile app, and omnichannel initiatives at global scale.
- Demonstrated people management experience with supervisory accountability.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to build business cases, define KPIs, and measure ROI.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable engaging senior leadership and boards.
- Experience or familiarity with AI/automation tools, low-code/no-code platforms, and natural language / vibe coding approaches is preferred.
Location & Compensation
- Location: New York, NY, United States
- Pay Range: $90,000 - $192,500 annually (actual pay dependent on experience and location)
