Flexport is hiring a Director of Growth Marketing to lead and scale the end-to-end growth engine that drives pipeline and revenue. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and analytics and requires close partnership with Product, Engineering, and Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Design and execute integrated multi-channel growth campaigns that translate product innovation into pipeline; build and optimize playbooks across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- AI & Marketing Innovation: Use AI tools and workflows to accelerate campaign execution, content production, audience targeting, and performance analysis; build landing pages, microsites, tools, dashboards, scoring models, and automations using AI and low-code approaches.
- Product-Led Growth: Partner with Product and Engineering to identify and activate PLG levers such as trial flows, in-platform conversion moments, self-serve onboarding, and expansion signals; develop experimentation frameworks.
- Lead Generation & Nurture: Own the lead lifecycle from acquisition through sales handoff, designing scoring models, nurture sequences, and segmentation strategies to improve conversion and pipeline quality.
- Performance Marketing: Manage and scale paid acquisition across Google Ads, LinkedIn, X, Meta and other channels; own budget allocation, bidding strategy, creative testing, and audience development; run targeted direct mail and ABM tactics.
- Website: Own the marketing website as a growth channel, driving SEO, conversion rate optimization, landing page strategy, and content performance in collaboration with design and engineering.
- Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain growth dashboards tracking pipeline contribution, channel performance, campaign ROI, and funnel velocity to inform investment decisions and communicate impact to leadership.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of growth, product, and performance marketers (2–3 direct reports); foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing with experience managing a growth marketing team.
- Strong track record of driving enterprise leads and building pipeline for high-growth B2B companies; familiarity with long sales cycles and buying committees.
- Deep expertise in paid media (Google, LinkedIn, Meta) and experience with marketing automation and CRM systems (Salesforce).
- Power user of AI in marketing workflows; familiarity with tools like Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, and experience using low-code AI tools or vibe coding to build pages, automations, or internal tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical instincts with fluency in funnel metrics, attribution modeling, and use of data to drive decisions.
- Experience partnering with Product on PLG initiatives and running experimentation frameworks.
- Excellent project management and communication skills and a bias toward action and rapid iteration.
