Role
The Director of Integration and Process Innovation is a strategic technology leader reporting to the AVP of Enterprise Data & Solutions. The role owns the full solution lifecycle for data integration, process automation, and AI-enabled applications, partnering across academic and business units to deliver transformative, secure, and high‑performing enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Lead enterprise system development planning and execution to support business growth and improve user experience.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (API, AI/ML) and lead campus-wide training and support programs.
- Develop technical and business proposals (SOWs, AI Development Plans) and define required platforms and execution priorities (e.g., Vertex AI, Snowflake Cortex).
Enterprise Platform & Integration Management
- Oversee operation and maintenance of core enterprise platforms and integrations (Workday, SnapLogic, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.).
- Support Workday Student implementation, HR and Finance integrations, release testing, and Workday adoption activities.
- Lead architecture and development of integrations (API web services, Workday Studio, Extend) to ensure reliable, high-volume data exchange.
- Manage platform resiliency, disaster recovery testing, and migrations (Oracle to Snowflake; SnapLogic to new open-source AI-enabled platform).
- Drive AI-assisted development (including vibe coding and Agentic AI) while ensuring security and code review standards.
Data Management & Governance
- Implement secure data sharing and access practices in Snowflake and Google Drive in partnership with Security and IR/BI.
- Enforce IT Change Management protocols and AI development standards, including auditing processes.
Project & Team Delivery
- Partner with the PMO and business stakeholders to plan and deploy strategic IT projects, ensuring adherence to project management standards.
- Direct team projects, manage resource allocation, and mitigate capacity risks.
- Lead process re-engineering and automation initiatives, documenting technical specifications and business cases.
Operational Support & Performance
- Cultivate a high-performing team culture and manage performance reviews and goals.
- Prioritize enterprise production support, direct incident response, and ensure timely resolution of application, user account, and data issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
- 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise systems, application development, integration, and data analytics required.
- 1+ years of experience leading a technical team required.
- 2+ years developing AI customer applications or AI architecture (Bots, RAG, Agentic AI, ML) required.
- Specific expertise in Workday (HCM, Finance, or Student) required.
- Prior experience as Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Data Analyst preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Technical: RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, Tomcat, Git, Oracle, PL/SQL, Snowflake, ETL, Workday object model; cloud/SaaS/PaaS experience; IT security and change management.
- Functional: advanced technical design, data mapping, analytics, business analysis lifecycle, and large-scale project management.
- Leadership: strong communication, negotiation, strategic thinking, organization, adaptability, and ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $116,950.00 - $146,250.00 annually, commensurate with experience.

Work Environment
- Scheduled weekly hours: 36.25.
