Role
The Director, Integration & Process Innovation is the strategic technology leader responsible for driving data integration, process efficiency, and AI-enabled solutions across the college. Reporting to the AVP of Enterprise Data & Solutions, this role establishes partnerships across academic and business units, owns the full solution lifecycle, and delivers transformative user experiences through automation and integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise system planning, execution, and platform management to support institutional initiatives and growth.
- Drive adoption and implementation of emerging technologies (APIs, AI/ML) and lead campus-wide adoption programs, training, and support.
- Develop and deploy AI-assisted applications and chatbots across core platforms (Workday, Google, Snowflake, NotebookLM).
- Produce technical and business proposals (SOWs, AI Development Plans) and define required platforms (e.g., Vertex AI, Snowflake Cortex).
- Oversee performance, operation, and maintenance of core platforms and integrations (Workday, Banner, SnapLogic, Salesforce CRM, BPLogix, Heroku, Oracle, GIT, Tomcat/Oracle Linux).
- Serve as technical lead for Workday projects and integrations, including release testing and lifecycle testing.
- Lead architecture and development of integrations (API web services, Workday Studio, Extend) to ensure reliable, high-volume data exchange.
- Govern platform resiliency, sandbox management, backup/restore, and disaster recovery testing.
- Partner with Security and IR/BI on data governance, secure data sharing, and change management protocols.
- Drive process re-engineering and automation, manage project delivery with PMO, and ensure operational support and incident response.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 10 years progressive experience in enterprise systems, application development, data integration, and technical team leadership.
- At least 5 years leading technical teams and 3+ years developing AI customer applications (Bots, RAG, Agentic AI, ML).
- Experience with major Student Information Systems (Workday, Banner, Salesforce).
- Demonstrated experience in integration, API development, data management, and enterprise system support.
Technical Skills
- Integration/API: RESTful API, JSON, XML, API web services, Workday Studio, Workday Extend.
- Data & ETL: Snowflake, Snowflake Cortex, Oracle, PL/SQL, ETL processes, data mapping and analytics.
- AI/ML & Platforms: LLMs/conversational AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic Systems, Vertex AI, NotebookLM.
- Platforms & Tools: Workday, Banner, Salesforce CRM, SnapLogic, BPLogix, Heroku, GIT, Tomcat, Oracle Linux, Google (Drive).
- Cloud/SaaS/PaaS architecture, IT security best practices, change management.
Leadership & Behavioral Competencies

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $116,950.00 - $146,250.00 annually, commensurate with experience.

Location & Schedule
- Primarily hybrid with mandatory on-site days as needed; must reside within reasonable commuting distance of the Boston campus. Scheduled weekly hours: 36.25.
