  • Architect technical solutions and guide the direction of platforms such as FreshTrak/PantryTrak and other MOFC initiatives.

  • Represent the platform team organization-wide and align engineering work to business priorities.
  • Manage large-scale budget items (examples given: AWS, Snowflake) and ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and security expectations.
  • Maintain 24/7 platform availability through operational practices and direct support when necessary.

  • Provide technical expertise to operational groups and serve as a strategic thought partner on major projects.
  • Promote safe and healthy work practices and support special projects as needed.

  • Knowledge of food pantry and foodbank operations is a plus.

Technical Skills & Tools

  • Broad programming experience (explicitly mentions PHP, C#, JavaScript).
  • Database design and administration experience.
  • Expertise in architecting and developing cloud-based distributed systems (Microservices).
  • Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jira.
  • Cloud experience; AWS preferred.
  • Mandatory proficiency using Vibe Coding and LLM-driven development tools.

Professional Skills & Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving, judgment, and communication skills; able to bridge technical and business perspectives.
  • Commitment to building an inclusive, diverse engineering culture with a focus on professional development.
