Role

Senior Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript) responsible for designing, building, and shipping product features on LANDR’s cloud platform. The role emphasizes UX quality, performance, maintainability, reusable components, and end-to-end ownership from tests through CI/CD to production monitoring and iteration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver product features using React and TypeScript with a focus on UX, performance, and maintainability.
• Convert inputs from product and design (including “vibe-coded” prototypes and Figma mockups) into production-ready experiences.
• Build and maintain reusable components and contribute to the design system to ensure consistency and accessibility.
• Own code end-to-end: write tests, perform peer reviews, deploy via CI/CD (GitHub Actions) to AWS, and monitor/iterate in production.
• Instrument features and participate in A/B testing and experimentation to inform decisions from real user behavior.
• Participate fully in Agile (Scrum) ceremonies: planning, story breakdown, demos, and code reviews.
• Mentor peers, share best practices, and document front-end architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional web/front-end development experience in product-focused companies.
• Deep expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, including component architecture and hooks.
• Client state management experience with Zustand and server-state/data via Apollo GraphQL.
• Strong HTML/CSS foundations: responsive design and modern styling approaches (CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS, utility frameworks).
• Solid understanding of accessibility (a11y / WCAG) and front-end performance (bundle size, rendering, Core Web Vitals).
• Experience with modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, Rspack) and automated testing: unit (Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library) and end-to-end (Playwright, Cypress).
• Familiarity with service-oriented architecture, functional programming, and test-driven development.
• Experience consuming GraphQL (Apollo) and REST APIs and shipping to production on AWS via CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Bilingual French/English (written and spoken).

AI & assisted development (essential)

• Regular, practical use of AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, command-line agents) integrated into workflow.
• Ability to write clear prompts/context, decompose work for agents, critically review AI-generated code, and respect security/privacy/IP guardrails.
• Interest in improving shared AI practices: prompts, templates, guardrails, and measuring impact on velocity and quality.

Nice-to-haves / Bonuses

• Experience with product analytics and instrumentation tools (Amplitude, Segment, Google Analytics, Intercom) and A/B testing.
• Familiarity with SSR/meta-frameworks like Next.js and building AI-powered features against LLM APIs.
• Experience with React Native or cross-platform mobile development.
