Développeur(se) en activation de l’IA (AI Enablement Developer)
Heavily focused on AI-assisted developer workflows and agentic tooling; uses agents like Claude Code, Copilot, and Cursor and builds integrations to make AI tools practical for engineers.
About the Role
Hands-on engineering role to accelerate AI adoption across Intrado's engineering organization by evaluating AI coding agents, building proofs-of-concept, and delivering integrations and workflows to scale agentic development. The developer will prototype, run pilots, author agent guidance, and enable engineering teams to increase productivity through practical AI tool adoption.
Job Description
Role
An operational, hands-on AI enablement developer responsible for accelerating adoption of AI coding tools and agentic workflows across the engineering organization. The role focuses on evaluating emerging AI coding tools, delivering prototypes and integrations, running pilots, and turning successful experiments into organization-wide practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously scout and evaluate AI coding tools, agents, IDEs, models, and MCP servers (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codex, Antigravity, OpenCode, Amp).
- Run structured assessments against real codebases and workflows.
- Rapidly prototype proofs-of-concept to validate tools, agents, and workflows.
- Recommend what to adopt, drop, or invest in based on data; run pilot projects with targeted teams.
- Author agent guidance and context files (e.g., CLAUDE.md, agents.md, custom skills, prompt libraries).
- Build MCP integrations connecting agents to issue trackers, documentation systems, source control, CI/CD, code quality tools, and chat platforms.
- Contribute POCs to the innovation program (AI-assisted defect triage, automated code review, agentic test generation, AI-augmented documentation).
- Enable engineers via office hours, internal demos, playbooks, and hands-on debugging of agent workflows.
- Partner with analytics teams to measure adoption, usage depth, code generation rates, and impacts on PR throughput, defect rates, and cycle time.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production code.
- Daily, hands-on experience with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or equivalents), beyond occasional use.
- Experience writing effective agent context and prompt libraries (CLAUDE.md, custom instructions) that measurably improved output quality.
- Comfortable across the stack: backend, CI/CD, scripting, and light frontend work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to enable and influence engineers.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments and a strong curiosity for AI tooling.
Nice to have
- Experience building MCP server integrations or agent tool integrations.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, evaluation methodologies, or “LLM-as-judge” approaches.
- Exposure to developer productivity metrics and frameworks (DORA, SPACE, DX framework).
- Experience in regulated or mission-critical software environments.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Life and disability insurance
- Paid time off
- Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)
- Tuition reimbursement
- Paid parental leave
- Access to a library of personal and professional training resources
- Employee discounts and additional insurance coverages
