Job Description
Role
Engineer responsible for verification of analog and mixed-signal circuits and creation of full-chip mixed-signal simulation environments where analog, digital, and firmware co-exist. The role includes schematic/behavioral model generation, device-level electrical checks, extraction and coupling checks, and power-cycle and user-mode chip-level simulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify analog and mixed-signal circuit designs through static and dynamic simulations.
- Generate schematic and behavioral models to enable feasible and efficient full-chip simulation.
- Perform device-level electrical rule checks (SOA, snapback, sfb, etc.).
- Conduct SPF extraction, fanout and coupling checks.
- Run power cycling simulations including power-loss and brown-out events.
- Correlate analog subsystems, digital logic, and firmware algorithms in chip-level user-mode simulations.
- Review design data sheets and generate verification plans.
- Support and collaborate with Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly, and Marketing to optimize manufacturability, cost, quality, reliability, and time-to-market.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of MOS device physics, including second-order effects.
- Basic knowledge of analog circuits (current mirrors, bandgap references, op-amps, regulators, ADC/DAC, charge pumps).
- Familiarity with shell, Perl, and Python scripting.
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, HSPICE, XA, and co-simulation flows.
- Familiarity with HDLs: Verilog, SystemVerilog, Verilog-A, and Verilog-AMS.
- Debugging mindset with a system-level outlook and ability to adopt complex workflows.
- Proven track record of leveraging AI-assisted (vibe) coding techniques to improve efficiency or automate design and analysis methodologies.

- Work cross-functionally with product, test, process, assembly, and marketing teams to ensure product readiness and customer satisfaction.
