Executive Director, Product Management — Home Lending Product & Transformation
Explicitly calls out vibe coding and hands-on light scripting for rapid prototyping; heavy focus on building agentic LLM-powered prototypes and prompt engineering.
About the Role
Lead product strategy and delivery for Home Lending transformation at Chase, defining measurable outcomes and delivering AI-powered, agentic experiences to accelerate cycle time and improve customer outcomes. Partner with engineering, design, and business leaders to prototype, prioritize, and scale LLM-enabled automation and integrations across channels.
Job Description
Role
As Executive Director of Product Management, Home Lending Product & Transformation, you will define outcomes and deliver AI-powered capabilities to accelerate idea-to-impact, raise execution quality, and transform the home lending experience. You will lead cross-functional teams, remove blockers, and champion a prototype-first, experiment-driven delivery model for agentic, LLM-powered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish a prototype-first delivery model using firm-approved tooling and light coding to build interactive agentic prototypes that accelerate alignment and compress design/engineering cycles.
- Define and prioritize product backlogs to maximize customer and business value; translate strategy into measurable outcomes and sequenced delivery plans at enterprise scale.
- Translate requirements into clear functional specifications (process flows, business rules, data definitions, acceptance criteria) and surface platform/integration dependencies.
- Design and deliver agentic experiences across modalities and channels (in-app chat, SMS, RCS, outbound/inbound voice) with clear human handoffs and guardrails.
- Define agent operating boundaries, guardrails, and escalation rules to ensure predictable, compliant behavior.
- Establish prompt refinement and optimization practices to test and tune prompts/few-shot examples for quality, token efficiency, and latency.
- Own end-to-end data and integration thinking (source-to-target mappings, data contracts, reconciliation checks) to ensure reliability across systems and channels.
- Run rapid discovery, usability testing, and MVP/A–B experiments to validate assumptions and iterate on quantified learnings.
- Use technical skills (SQL/analytics, light scripting, and firm-approved AI tooling/vibe coding) to validate hypotheses, analyze funnels, and reduce time-to-insight.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, break work into implementable slices with engineers, remove blockers, and maintain delivery velocity and quality.
- Instrument features, analyze performance, and publish sprint/release outcome dashboards; maintain a living, data-backed roadmap.
- Drive innovation and cross-functional change initiatives that transform Home Lending product and delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Owner/Product Manager experience with end-to-end ownership delivering material customer and business outcomes and compressing cycle time on complex products.
- Hands-on experience building agentic, LLM-powered applications end-to-end, including orchestration pipelines, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and model-output evaluation frameworks.
- Proven experience building and scaling agentic task-automation solutions that streamline workflows and deliver measurable business impact (cycle-time reduction, productivity gains, improved accuracy/CSAT).
- Advanced product analytics capabilities and familiarity with AI/ML concepts; hands-on technical proficiency (e.g., SQL, light scripting/automation, firm-approved vibe coding) to validate assumptions and accelerate insights.
- 3+ years hands-on with JIRA/JIRA Align for backlog management and expertise leading agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) with measurable improvements to throughput and quality.
- Applied UX and solution design experience; proficiency with Figma and process-mapping tools for rapid framing and prototyping.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to translate business needs into functional specs and integration-ready requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Notes
- The role emphasizes responsible use of AI within governance frameworks and expects practical experience with prompt engineering, evaluation, and guardrails.
- Compensation and specific benefits are determined based on role, experience, skill set, and location; standard Chase benefits are referenced but not enumerated here.
