Role
Experience Design Vice President (Home Lending) responsible for shaping UX and visual design strategy across products and services. Lead end-to-end design initiatives, align design decisions with business objectives and user needs, and foster inclusive, accessible design practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute design and research strategies for complex, multi-product initiatives.
- Diagram service flows, design wireframes, and prototype interactions for key touchpoints.
- Lead end-to-end design within a domain and align visual design approaches across products.
- Role-model inclusive design and accessibility guidelines; mentor and guide junior designers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UX into product development processes.
- Use market trends, user research, and data insights to inform and optimize experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience (or equivalent) in user experience design or similar roles.
- Demonstrated ability to create visual representations of user journeys (storyboarding, wireframes, prototypes).
- Demonstrated experience with inclusive design and accessibility guidelines.
- Proven ability to develop transformational experience strategies and “north star” representations.
- Advanced technical literacy, including understanding of client-side technologies, APIs, microservices, and their UX impact.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
- Proven experience in responsive design and system-based design principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Design leadership or managerial experience.
- AI knowledge and/or Vibe Coding experience is a plus.
