Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at 66degrees you will partner with Sales, Engineering, and Service Delivery to discover, scope, design, prototype, and productionize agentic solutions and LLM-powered systems for enterprise customers. You will drive technical delivery across multiple deployments, embed with account teams, and measure success via production adoption and workflow impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore GTM opportunities and map sales journeys to identify AI/agentic automation use cases
- Drive discovery, technical scoping, system design, and production rollout of solutions
- Build full-stack systems and deliver prototypes, demos, and production-grade deployments
- Spend 60%+ of time hands-on coding and developing agents and deployment pipelines
- Scope work, sequence deliveries, remove blockers, and make trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality
- Codify working patterns into tools, playbooks, and reusable building blocks
- Share field feedback to inform Product and Research on model performance and product impact
- Embed with account teams to drive adoption and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Prepare demonstrations and proof-of-concept environments based on client requirements
Requirements
- 7+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience with customer- or stakeholder-facing work
- 5+ years of experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure/AWS (GCP preferred)
- Professional-level GCP certification required; FDE training/certification is a plus
- Experience designing, architecting, and leading scalable solutions on GCP strongly preferred
- Expertise writing production-grade code across frontend and backend using Python, JavaScript, or comparable stacks
- Experience building or deploying systems powered by LLMs or generative models; familiarity with Anthropic or Google stack preferred
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, full-stack approach, and ability to work with leadership including CXOs
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and make runtime adjustments without impacting customer experience
