Role

Forward Deployed Engineer (AI & Business Transformation) embedded directly with client teams to redesign workflows, establish operating models, and drive adoption of AI-enabled technology. The role is highly consultative and hands-on, focusing on organizational diagnostics and rapidly building functional prototypes to demonstrate value and accelerate ROI.

Key Responsibilities

• Map current-state workflows end-to-end to diagnose root causes of operational friction (handoff failures, governance gaps, tooling mismatches).
• Redesign target-state operations for leaner workflows, clearer decision rights, and effective human-agent collaboration using AI.
• Design operating models (structure, roles, governance, cross-functional interaction, value realization).
• Establish performance baselines and measurement frameworks to track continuous improvement.
• Identify value gaps in stalled implementations and restore path to ROI.
• Build functional AI-powered prototypes and demos using LLM APIs, platform-native features, and low-code/no-code environments.
• Use working demos as primary tools for stakeholder alignment within actual client processes.
• Advise clients on practical AI use cases versus distractions; support rollout, adoption, and change management.
• Design enablement materials and contribute reusable frameworks for practice qualification and scoping.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in management consulting or equivalent roles within enterprise technology, SaaS, or professional services.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two areas: organizational design, operating model transformation, change management, technology enablement, process engineering, or go-to-market execution.
• Proven ability to build structured, evidence-based arguments and influence senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows, automations, and prototypes; ability to ship working solutions.
• Comfortable working autonomously without a dedicated engineering team and able to scope and deliver rapid proofs of concept.
• Strong diagnostic mindset, accountability to measurable outcomes, and a bias toward building early working prototypes.
• Experience with large-scale organizational assessments, process redesigns, or large technology rollouts is preferred.
