Forward Deployed Engineer (AI & Business Transformation) – Technology & Creative Network | Mexico

Role

The Forward Deployed Engineer (AI & Business Transformation) will embed directly with client teams to perform organizational diagnostics, redesign workflows and operating models, and build functional AI-powered prototypes that demonstrate measurable ROI and accelerate adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Map end-to-end current-state workflows to identify root causes of operational friction.
• Redesign target-state operations for leaner workflows, clear decision rights, and effective human–AI collaboration.
• Design operating models including organizational structure, roles, governance, cross-functional interactions, and value realization.
• Establish performance baselines and continuous measurement frameworks.
• Diagnose stalled implementations and restore the path to ROI by aligning technology to business adoption.
• Build working AI-powered prototypes using LLM APIs, platform-native features, and low-code/no-code environments.
• Use demos and prototypes to align stakeholders within real client processes.
• Advise on where AI is practical versus distracting and set realistic expectations.
• Support rollout, change management, and enablement materials to ensure adoption.
• Scope engagements, conduct diagnostic assessments, and contribute reusable frameworks and tools.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in management consulting or equivalent roles in enterprise technology, SaaS, or professional services.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two of: organizational design, operating model transformation, change management, technology enablement, process engineering, or go-to-market execution.
• Proven ability to build structured, evidence-based arguments and influence senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience building functional AI-powered workflows, automations, and prototypes; ability to ship working solutions.
• Ability to rapidly scope and deliver working proofs of concept within client engagement constraints.
• Comfortable operating autonomously without a dedicated engineering team and discerning when to involve additional resources.
• Strong diagnostic mindset focused on root causes and measurable impact.
• Experience with large-scale organizational assessments, process redesigns, or technology rollouts is highly preferred.
