Role
A hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer based in Bangalore (onsite) working on engineering solutions that bridge speech/audio processing, embedded/IoT devices, and applied LLM tooling. The role favors demonstrable coding ability over pedigree and is suitable for early-career candidates with practical project or internship experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and deploy systems that involve speech and audio processing (transcription, diarization, voice activity detection) for noisy real-world recordings.
- Work on embedded/IoT hardware and firmware (e.g., ESP32 or similar platforms).
- Build and maintain data workflows and queries using SQL.
- Utilize LLMs for prompts, retrieval, and evaluation as part of solution development and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver deployable solutions in consulting-style or analyst-style engagements.
Requirements
- Strong coding ability; Python is preferred.
- Experience with speech/audio work such as transcription, diarization, or voice activity detection in realistic noisy environments.
- Embedded or IoT experience (examples include ESP32 or similar platforms).
