Role
Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who works directly with enterprise customers to deploy, configure, and customize the Jinba workflow automation platform. The FDE serves as the technical bridge between product/engineering and major enterprise clients, owning deployments from pilot through expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure Jinba for enterprise customers and drive successful adoption.
- Gather and document customer requirements by working with IT teams, business users, and executives.
- Build integrations connecting Jinba to customer systems (internal databases, legacy applications, ERP and enterprise software).
- Translate customer feedback into product requirements for the engineering team.
- Debug and resolve production issues in customer deployments.
- Develop best practices, documentation, and reusable integration patterns from field experience.
- Own customer technical relationships throughout pilots, rollouts, and expansions.
Requirements
Experience
- 3+ years in customer-facing technical roles (solutions engineering, implementation, consulting, or similar).
- Proficiency with TypeScript and comfort reading/modifying both frontend and backend code.
- Experience integrating with legacy systems and navigating complex enterprise IT environments.
Enterprise Integration & Security
- Deep understanding of enterprise tech stacks (ERP systems, databases, identity providers, internal APIs).
- Familiarity with integration patterns (APIs, webhooks, data pipelines, ETL).
- Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance requirements (SOC 2, on-prem deployments, VPNs, SSO).
Customer & Domain Skills
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work with IT teams, business users, and executives across functions.
- Experience in regulated industries (finance, insurance, manufacturing) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel ~10–20% to customer sites.
Signals / Nice-to-have
- Prior engineering or consulting roles at major firms or experience in forward deployment/customer-facing roles at companies like Palantir, Accenture, Deloitte.
- Implementation, solutions, or technical consulting experience at enterprise software companies (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday).
- Prior experience deploying AI/automation products to large organizations.

- Compensation range: $120,000 - $160,000 (USD)
