Role
Pulsora is seeking an AI-first Forward Deployed Engineer to join the customer solutions organization. The FDE will be a highly technical, customer-facing engineer responsible for deploying AI-enabled solutions into complex enterprise environments, prototyping and shipping workflows, and integrating systems to support ESG reporting, automation, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise deployments and implementations of the Pulsora platform for global customers
- Partner with customer stakeholders to gather technical requirements and map business processes and ESG reporting workflows
- Design and implement AI-enabled solutions to improve automation, compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Use AI-first engineering practices (AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, rapid prototyping, vibe coding, LLM-powered development)
- Rapidly build proofs-of-concept, internal tools, automations, integrations, dashboards, and lightweight applications
- Configure workflows, validations, ETL pipelines, analytics, integrations, and reporting within the Pulsora platform
- Develop reusable implementation accelerators and AI-powered tooling to accelerate delivery
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to influence roadmap priorities based on customer feedback
- Lead solution workshops, architecture reviews, product demonstrations, and technical deep dives
- Troubleshoot technical escalations and act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers
- Support customer adoption, quarterly business reviews, and annual reporting cycles
Requirements
- 3β7 years of experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Solution Architecture, Enterprise SaaS Implementation, or Customer Engineering
- Strong experience with AI-assisted software development and modern engineering workflows
- Hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, integrations, and analytics platforms
- Experience with LLM application development including prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, workflow orchestration, and evaluation
- Strong vibe coding skills and ability to rapidly prototype and ship AI-native solutions
- Experience with modern AI development tools (examples: Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LangGraph, Vercel AI SDK, Replit, Bolt.new)
- Familiarity with cloud-native and open-source technologies
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems integration and business process automation
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
- Familiarity with ESG, sustainability, carbon accounting, or reporting frameworks (CDP, SASB, GRI, TCFD) is a plus
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
Compensation
- Compensation Range: CA$60,000 - CA$70,000
Work Arrangement
- Role listed as Remote Canada; company notes hybrid-friendly offices with in-office expectation 2β3 times per week for employees located in New York, San Francisco Bay Area, and Munich.
