Job Description
Role
Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who operates at the intersection of Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Customer Success to understand customer requirements and deliver technical solutions from POC to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers and stakeholders to gather business problems, workflows, and technical requirements.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable technical and AI/ML solutions.
- Build rapid POCs, prototypes, MVPs, and production-grade applications.
- Develop and integrate LLM, GenAI, Agentic AI, and RAG solutions where applicable.
- Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, data pipelines, and integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize solutions with attention to architecture, scalability, security, and observability.
- Debug and troubleshoot across application, data, model, and infrastructure layers.
- Integrate solutions with customer data and existing enterprise systems.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders and own technical delivery through discovery, deployment, and adoption.
Requirements
- Experience: listed as 8–15 years (posting also cites 6+ years of engineering experience as a must-have).
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms and OOP/software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building REST APIs/microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong system design and scalable backend architecture experience.
- Experience with SQL / RDBMS and data processing.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD.
- Ability to rapidly prototype and convert POCs into production-ready solutions.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
