Fractional AI Solutions Architect / Technical Product Strategist
Explicitly requires vibe coding skills — fast prototyping with LLMs, APIs, and no-code/low-code tools to validate ideas.
About the Role
Senior fractional AI Solutions Architect / Technical Product Strategist working remotely to help organizations map workflows, identify automation opportunities, and design AI-powered systems. Lead client-facing discovery, design end-to-end architectures, and build rapid prototypes to validate AI and automation solutions.
Job Description
Role
A fractional, senior role combining consulting, product strategy, and hands-on engineering to deliver AI-driven workflow transformation and automation for client organizations. You will run discovery sessions, translate business workflows into AI use cases, design system architectures, and build rapid prototypes to validate solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and workflow mapping with stakeholders across sales, operations, and internal teams
- Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities
- Translate business challenges into actionable AI and automation use cases (workflow automation, decision support, data enrichment)
- Design end-to-end systems and integration patterns, defining how tools, APIs, and data should interact
- Recommend appropriate platforms, including LLMs, automation tools, and internal systems
- Rapid prototyping (“vibe coding”) using APIs, no-code/low-code platforms, and LLMs to produce working demos
- Bridge business and technical teams, support implementation planning and handoffs, and communicate outcomes clearly
Requirements
Core Background
- 5+ years in roles such as Solutions Architect, Technical Product Manager, Automation/Systems Consultant, Startup CTO, or Technical Co-founder
- Strong experience in client-facing or stakeholder-heavy environments
Technical Capabilities
- Deep understanding of APIs and system integrations
- Experience with data flow and process design
- Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make)
- Experience working with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI or similar)
Builder Mindset
- Able to prototype quickly and independently; comfortable producing scrappy proofs-of-concept
- Bias toward execution and fast validation over theoretical design
Business & Operational Thinking
- Ability to identify ROI-driven opportunities and think in end-to-end workflows
Communication & Facilitation
- Strong facilitation skills for workshops and discovery sessions
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Consulting experience
- Prior design or implementation of AI-driven workflows
- Exposure to CRM, ERP, or internal operations systems
Engagement & Compensation
- Fractional engagement (10–20 hours/week to start), flexible with opportunity to scale
- Long-term potential for the right fit
- Compensation: TBD
