Role
Join Indent as a Frontend Engineer focused on building and maintaining the product frontend using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind. You’ll work on a complex product with interactive, realtime systems used by large engineering teams and help shape frontend architecture and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the frontend using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
- Implement interactive, realtime interfaces and coordinate complex client-side systems.
- Turn Figma designs into reliable production code.
- Contribute to frontend architecture and make the codebase immediately usable for other engineers.
- Dogfood and evaluate AI coding tools; provide concrete feedback on what should be improved.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind (able to be productive in an existing codebase).
- Strong frontend architecture skills and experience shipping production UIs from Figma designs.
- Experience building or coordinating interactive, realtime client-side systems.
- Comfortable working on a small, engineering-focused team and owning large product areas.
- Willingness to use and critique AI coding tools; familiarity with developer workflows and tooling.
