Frontend Javascript Developer - Remote

Role

We are hiring a Frontend JavaScript Developer to contribute to research collaborations with AI labs by creating training data that captures realistic client-side web development tasks. You will design and deliver self-contained prompts, example web apps/games/simulations, and precise evaluation rubrics to train models on state management, interactivity, UI correctness, and robustness.

Project Timeline

• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: 1–2 months (projects may be extended or shortened)
• Commitment: Part-time (15–25 hours/week, flexible up to 40 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Write realistic, self-contained prompts for client-side web apps, games, tools, and simulations.
• Create precise, binary (pass/fail) rubrics tagged by verification type.
• Ensure all rubric items are verifiable from screenshots and code inspection.
• Deliver high-quality examples and specifications that can be used to train and evaluate AI models.

Qualifications / Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development or in technical content creation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or vanilla JS.
• Comfortable writing precise technical specifications and evaluation criteria.

Onboarding & Application Process

• Upload resume and participate in a short (~15 minute) AI-assisted conversational interview.
• Follow-up communication provided with next steps and onboarding details.

Contract & Payment Terms

• Engagement as an independent contractor.
• Fully remote; work can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on needs and performance.
• Payments are weekly via Stripe or Wise.
